Beavers

Beaver Scouts are young boys and girls usually aged between six and eight years old.

We run two Colonies on a Monday (Keeos), 6.15-7.15pm and a Tuesday (Malaks), 6.15-7.15pm during term time, and they are friendly and active places for your child โ€“ we get up to all sorts of things, including day visits, sleepovers, arts and crafts, exploring the outdoors and much more!

What do Beavers do?

All sorts of things!

We are an active colony, so we try to do as many different things as possible. We do activities inside our regular meeting place, go on day visits, and even have occasional sleepovers!

We play games, do crafts, make new friends, explore the outdoors, create things and eventually when the beavers become 8 years old, they move up to Cubs.

Badges

Our beavers take part in lots of activities that go towards various โ€œactivityโ€ and โ€œchallengeโ€ badges. Please sew or stick them onto the Beaverโ€™s jumper when your Beaver is awarded the badges. Here is a diagram showing where they should go:
